Hey everyone. Cameron Hemphill, here your host for Medical Millionaire. First off, I want to thank you for listening to our podcast. Our goal is to give incredible value and insight into the medical spa market.
And my team and I, we’ve consulted with some of the top medical spa owners of the country for years. We see businesses that are absolutely thriving, ones that are doing extremely well, and ones that are always seeking to move the needle, and others that need help. And so in this journey together, we want to help you take your practice to the next level. In this episode, I want to get into online, instant virtual consultations and why they are here to stay.
Another term that we’re also seeing in the marketplace is online symptom composers and what’s happened, as you all know, in the last you know, 12 to 18 months is a lot of consumer behavior is being drawn towards the internet. Of course, the internet’s always been there. Online Search has always been there.
Social media has been very powerful. But what’s taking place more than ever right now is consumers are going to the internet to conduct searches and they want to request information without leaving their residence or leaving their office, for example. So what we’ve seen happen is a huge uptick and spike on how buyer consumption behavior has pivoted from going to a office for a consultation, right actually driving to that location, sitting in a waiting room and having a conversation with an expert, they actually want to go further down the discovery or due diligence process before they actually Want to make the commute to go to the location.
And I think a lot of that has become a mental mindset in terms of, you know, just doing day to day things out in the public is becoming more challenging with, you know, mask mandates, with contact lists with COVID, with this virus, and really what’s how the world has been kind of turned around. And so, you know, day to day, lives have changed, and so these are definitely here to stay. And what we’re seeing in percentages of data is it’s actually a lot easier and faster to conduct this online, instant virtual consultation without having to make a commute.
Very similar to be behavior as you would shop online. You could go to Amazon on your phone and click a couple buttons, and the next day, or even so, in some cases, the same day, the item that you request shows up, and that’s very convenient. And so really it’s the world is changing so fast, and technology is at a rapid all time high that this isn’t going to roll back like obviously, we still have to have that interaction, but with products such as zoom or other screen sharing capabilities, you’re actually kind of getting that virtual one on one connection, just like having face time or something like that on your phone.
And so we have worked actually tirelessly at Growth99 to talk about, how do we help the medical spa owners embrace technology when it comes to instant virtual consultations, instant virtual symptom composers, and how can you leverage some Technology to put this on your websites, to tailor to every single personality trait, and we’re seeing personality traits actually change quickly.
And so again, the purpose of a website is to convert somebody, and that conversion is. Needs to be tailored to a call to action specifically around somebody having the ability to text, to communicate through chat, to inquire on a lead form, like, just fill out data. Hey, I’m interested. Please have someone call me phone like, actually click a button, make a phone call, and now this whole instant virtual consultation is becoming extremely, extremely important.
And so there’s some cool tools out there, but you can, you can talk to growth 99 we actually have a product out there called Growth99 plus that has technology that actually solves this problem. And the purpose of this episode isn’t to say, hey, we have a solution for you. It’s more to bring awareness, but you know, feel free to reach out if it makes sense for you. So here’s here’s what we’re happening so so consumers or potential prospects are conducting searches. We all know that they go to the internet, they do a search.
They find your website, either if you running ads, or your Google My Business page, or your website or your social media, and when they land on that page, it would be great to have, you know, a button that says, hey, free, free consultation or book now and then take them down. The due diligence process, okay? Because what you want to do is you want to step out of your mindset of running your business and think of how the consumer is conducting research and due diligence checklist on what they want to accomplish.
Okay, so if you have that on your website, and you have basically a free, instant virtual consultation, and you’re taking them down the path. Ideally, when they land on the site, they click the button and it’s going to say, Okay, well, are you? Are you male? Are you? Are you female? And so you’re further letting them understand what’s going on? Let’s say they collect. They select the female, okay, this is a female.
They’re they’re interested, and what can happen is then an actual virtual model can can be exposed, and that virtual model, in this case, would be a female and you could essentially have a diagram that pulls up, and it’s a, literally a virtual reality of a female model, if you will. And they could drill in onto a specific area, and maybe that specific area is the nose or face.
Well, you can have fields that could say, okay, what are your concerns, or what are your symptoms? And maybe for the nose and face, they have concerns around acne or enlarged pores or scars or maybe some unwanted hair or sun spots or, you know, like volume loss, whatever it is. Wouldn’t it be cool if you could, if you could have those at their fingertips, so they’re ultimately pre qualifying themselves, and then there’s a button to where they can add that to the console.
And then what would happen in the next phase is it would create a form where they put in their information. And so the whole idea is to let them do the due diligence and pre qualify themselves before you ask for data. Like a lot of you know, people are saying, Well, I’m not going to give you my data until I get an item of value. Well, this, this changes the mindset to give them an item of value before you ask for data, and now they want to give their data like first name, last name, phone number and email once they’ve explained to you what they’re seeking, this does two things.
You get the lead that can be pushed in, you know, email, SMS to your lead management, your EMR, your CRM, whatever you’re doing, and then it can also send that potential prospect and email back with a link to the search. Services recommended that fit their requirements. Okay, so now the next step is the doctor or the injector or the qualifier is well positioned to make that phone call, and the consumer or prospect feels that you know what you’re talking about, and they’ve already expressed their need and requirement.
So now when you jump on the phone, that conversation is extremely qualified, and the chances of them coming in to get services done actually go up north of 80% so again, the virtual consultation, it’s here to stay. And the whole, you know, telehealth and virtual meetings, it’s here to stay. So be sure to embrace technology around this. Again, it’s I think what we see is a lot of businesses or practices get stuck in the mindset of how they think the business should be ran.
But I always try to preach and consult and educate. It’s about the consumer, right? There’s a reason why consumers are not going to malls right now. There’s a reason why they less and less have gone to malls prior to COVID. Okay? It’s a convenience factor and it’s a time factor, okay? So these are working professionals, these are parents, these are executives, these are people that have high level trade values, right? And so you have to tailor your business to their expectations. Okay, so I hope a lot of that made sense for you guys.
So there’s, there’s why it’s important. I’ve really got into the why. It’s ease of use, it’s it’s pre qualification, easy to get the lead, easy to have the console, easy to take place. And if you you can actually probably run ads against this, which would be kind of cool, if you could have, hey, we do online instant consultations, and you could run a landing page around that, which would be really cool. And I think a lot of people right now, you could capture a lot of market share just running ads to that specific landing page.
And so again, there’s some other, you know, there’s some tools out there that can do it. Obviously, growth 99 plus has that capability. That’s the that’s the product that that we are releasing. I’ve seen some practices roll this out, and the ones that have rolled it out have had tremendous success, like more success than they thought they would have, and ask them questions, hey, is this something that you would ever turn off? And absolutely not, especially for cosmetics, you know, you’re talking about rhinoplasties, you’re talking about breast augmentation.
These are areas that really have to do with confidence and maybe insecurities, and so consumers feel like way more eased if they have the conversation with themselves and pre filter based upon what the requirements are. So if, if this is not implemented at some point in time, again, it’s here to stay. But if it’s not implemented, I see that particular practice starting to fall behind, because, again, you have to tailor every single personality to consumption, buyer behavior.
And so I would strongly recommend putting this on your roadmap for 2021 definitely before 2022 and again. This is technology that is new needs to be embraced, and strongly recommend it. So I wanted to just get in quickly talk about instant virtual consultations symptom composers, because there’s been a lot of like talk around it.
