hey everybody. Cameron Hemphill, here your host for medical millionaire. Hey, first off, thanks so much for taking the time to tune into our podcast. Our goal is to give incredible value and insight into the medical spa market. So if you’re an injector, you own an esthetics business, and you own a med spa, this podcast is designed specifically for you, and you only. My team and I, we’ve consulted some of the top injectors, medical spa owners cosmetics throughout the country for years, and we see businesses that are absolutely thriving, ones that have great technology, ones that have great tools, processes, people, products, and we see ones that are also not doing so well, ones that are trying to improve, ones trying to figure it out, people that are actually trying to open up a medical spa, open up a practice. And so throughout this journey, our goal is to give value and help you move your practice to the next level. And everybody’s on their different journey, right? Everybody’s on their different path. And so when you’re when you’re trying to understand exactly where you are within your journey, stop comparing to where people else are, right, because maybe they have been in this space longer than you right? Maybe they have been in this space for years. And so just, just try to understand that you’re on your own path. You’re on your own journey. And really, this podcast is specifically designed for anybody that’s that’s looking to achieve and make a very successful business. So this is our first recording of the year. It’s 2022 Today is January 4, and what I want to get into is kicking off 2022 with goal setting and why daily reviews of your goals is so important. And I hope all of you guys have made some new year’s resolutions. Maybe you’ve written down some goals. Maybe you guys are used to writing down goals, or maybe this is the year that you’re gonna go attack and you’re gonna separate yourself from the pack, right? So what are you doing right now? How are you how are you making yourself accountable? Are you reviewing your goals? Are you writing them down? How often are you reviewing them? Are you achieving your goals? Right? I’ve been writing goals for down for years. I review them every single morning. I do mental, visionary adjustments and track daily activities that associate to my goals. And when you look at some of the business owners out there and very successful entrepreneurs, they all have the exact same traits. They all review their goals. They all write them down, whether it’s, you know, on a piece of software, or if it’s just on a, you know, a notepad or whatever it is, but then they take the time to actually review them and put themselves in a mental state of achieving them, right? And so there is a gentleman out there that that I admire and follow. His name is Grant Cardone. I don’t know if you guys know him, but he has a very successful business and in multiple businesses, and wrote some some great books and create some really good content out there. And so, you know, he’s just one of the individuals that I admire and follow. And he talks about the same thing, you know, he writes his goals down every single morning, every single evening, reviews them, visionary state of mind, what the world in his mind, in his world, is going to look like when he achieves those goals, right? And so it’s important as you’re writing these goals down, you need to actually put yourself in a state of mind that these are already been achieved. These are not goals that you know are basically have a specific end date to them, okay? And every goal should have an action item. So as you’re writing these goals down, you need to be in a state of, I have actually already achieved this. This has already happened to me. You’re almost putting yourself in a position where you’re deceiving yourself to make yourself believe that it’s already been accomplished, right? And this is a very, very powerful way to put yourself in a position of creating confidence and knowing that you have the ability to execute. And so if your goal this year is to say, Hey, I’m gonna make $100,000 or $200,000 or my business is gonna do a million dollars, or five or 10 million, whatever that goal is, right? First and foremost, you have to take action to achieve those goals. Right? So it’s a if it’s a financial goal, and if it’s around, hey, we’re going to do a million dollars in sales this year. Well, you know what you have to do in order to achieve those goals? Right? You’re basically going to have to bring in just south of $100,000
a month in revenue to achieve those goals. Okay? So you can quickly break that down one order to achieve a.
$100,000 in sales. How are you going to do that? What products and services are you going to offer? What marketing are you going to do? How is your website? How is your social media? How is your sales process? Are you putting people on memberships? Are you rebooking them? What technology are you using them? Right so you have to identify the action items that are going to put you in a position to achieve those goals. And then, as you monitor those KPIs, you’ll basically be in a position to achieve the outcome. Okay,
I was going through an exercise recently this year, going into 2022 and I always save my historical annual goals on my iPhone in that little note center that you guys have, right? And I was reviewing my goals from 2019 2020, 2021,
I achieved every single one of them. And it’s not because I’m like this, you know, great over achieve or anything. It’s just because I have accountability and discipline, and I review them every single day, and achieving your goal is quite interesting. You look back on it, and you reflect, and you’re like, Wow, that was really my goal. I’m so much further now. It’s almost like it’s confusing then that that was my goal at that particular time, because it seems so little like, why wasn’t I thinking bigger? Why was I thinking so small. But then if you go back and put yourself in where you were in your specific life when you wrote that goal down, it totally made sense to you. And what’s even crazier is if you put yourself in a state of mind where, like when I actually took the time to write that goal down three years ago, it was extremely, extremely important to me, and almost scared me a little bit, because it was almost out of reach. It was almost unattainable, and it freaked me out. And it’s really good to freak yourself out. It’s good to scare yourself. You have to be scared. You have to get yourself being in a position to being uncomfortable, because there’s new worlds out there. And once you start achieving these goals, maybe this is a financial goal, maybe it’s a personal development goal, a family goal, you know, whatever it is, a health goal, nutrition, those types of things.
And as you achieve them, you almost just check them off the list. It’s kind of funny. It’s like, Hey, this is very important to me. It kind of freaks me out and scares me. I wrote it down. I’ve reviewed it every single day for a year, I have my actionable activities that actually put me in a position to achieve those goals. It was achieved. It’s checked off the list. It’s kind of funny, because now, as I have gone through and written down my goals for 2022 they completely freak me out. They’re very scary. They’re very hard to obtain. And it’s, it’s really good, because I know that I’m going to achieve them, and nothing’s going to get in my way. And I know that anybody that’s getting value in this content and listening and tuning in and really becoming, you know, part of the growth 99 ecosystem, you guys are all trying to do the same thing, right? Everybody has goals, everybody has dreams, but you have to take the action to implement the daily activities that put you in a position to achieve those goals and dreams. If you just have a goal and a dream, and it’s just kind of out there, and there’s no way to measure it, it’s going to make it hard for you to actually hit and obtain that.

So let’s pivot just for a second and kind of get off like financial What about when it comes to health and fitness? Maybe you want to lose 1020, 3040, 50 pounds this year, or you want to eat better. You want to take daily vitamins. You want to start running. You want to start running, you want to start exercising daily, right? It’s, we’re into what day six of the year. Today is January 6. That’s, that’s the date today. And I am sure some of you tuning in have already, you know, you’ve written your goals down, and maybe you’ve already.
Already broken them. Maybe one of your goals is to work out every single day. Maybe you haven’t done that. That’s okay, reset, go back, you know, get yourself in a position to go back to the gym or go outside and go on a run. You know, it’s the daily activities that you do over time that’s going to get you the results. Let me say that again. It’s the daily activities you do over time that gets you the results. It’s discipline. That’s all it is. It becomes boring, it becomes mundane. But I’m telling you right now, the individuals that stay consistent, the ones that have the discipline, are the ones that achieve Okay, let’s say you go outside for the first week of the year and you’re running, you run two miles a day, and you’re like, Man, I feel good, but looking in the mirror and I’m not really seeing much of a result. That’s because you’ve only been running for a week. Go do that for 365
days, and take before and after pictures. I promise you there’s going to be results. It’s the accountability factor compound with the discipline that’s going to put you in a position to achieve the actual results, and get you in a position to want to execute more, right? If you, if you continue to do that daily exercise routine throughout the course of the year, you’re going to not only feel better, but you’re going to receive the results. And then imagine what your goal is going to be for 2023
you’re like, Man, my goal is to run two miles per day. That’s like, you know, come around, like, October, November, December of 2022 you’re like, wow, two miles is actually kind of easy. Maybe I should turn the dial a little bit. Maybe I actually like, like running so much. Maybe I should go participate in a race. Maybe I should run a marathon, you know. And then, as you look back, like three years prior to that, running a marathon, I would never do that, but now you’re on your your way to putting yourself in a position to achieve something that you never even thought was possible, because you took those daily activities and have the accountability to do. So, okay, let’s pivot for a second and talk about family and personal stuff, right? So maybe one of your goals is to fall more deeply in love with your spouse. Okay, that’s great. What do you have to do in order to achieve that? Okay? So you’re obviously going to have to really find out what it is about your spouse that you know, what is his or her love language you know, and poke at that throughout the entire year, right? So if it’s words of affirmation, if it’s acts of service, take the time to do the acts of service. Take the time to send the text or write the cute note, or, you know, make the no reason phone call of why they’re so great, go on a date, you know, plan this stuff out. You have to execute, right? So if that’s one of your goals, okay, same thing with kids. If you have kids, right? You want to be more present with them. Maybe, maybe you want to teach them to be confident. Maybe you want to teach them a new skill set, a talent. Maybe you want to teach them about the world. Maybe you want to, you know, whatever it is you then that’s the goal. Okay, you want, I want to be closer with my daughter. Okay, great. What are you going to have to do in order to do in order to do that? Probably some one on one time, probably some eye contact. Maybe put that phone away and have some very interactive maybe play with them in their world, right? Those types of things, so and again. You know, you have to
review these goals every single day. I’m very disciplined. I do it every single morning. Maybe I’m not as disciplined as Grant Cardone, he does it every morning and every evening, but I do review them every morning. And it really kind of just keeps you in balance. It keeps you knowing what the ultimate objective is, and it keeps it on the top of your mind, so as you go through it in every single day, it almost becomes injected into your soul, spiritually, right? Spiritually. So now you’re this walking, talking individual that nothing is really going to get in your way because you’ve reviewed them, you have already won them in your mind,
and now you’re just conducting the daily activities that’s going to make them become that dream of a reality.
Okay, so if you’re not writing your goals down, be sure to take the time pull out the the notepad or whatever you have to do now. I mean, it’s not like, oh, New Year’s came and went. I guess I’ll do my goal planning next year. No, do it every do it now. I mean, rewrite them, you know, review them, check some off the list, erase them, redo some more. And when you’re doing this, make them, make them scary. If there’s just so easy to obtain and they’re so easy to achieve, like, you’re gonna do it anyway, right? Just make them so they freak you out. Make it put they’re in a position, if it’s a financial or if you’re like, want to save a certain amount of money, you know, make it almost impossible. Inject that into your mind that you’ve already achieved that.
And.
As you have your reviews of your goals, you will achieve them. If you are accountable and disciplined and take the time to actually conduct the impact activities that will reach that goal, you will achieve your goals. I’ve seen it time and time again, not only myself, the masterminds, the groups, the entrepreneurs I associate with, the individuals I admire and follow, they all do the same thing, right? If you’ve ever read the book, Think and Grow Rich, incredible book. When I first read it, I was like, this thing is so hokey. I think you know, how do you think and grow rich, right? But it comes down to to really having the right energy, the right mindset and the right visuals, right? So this year I added, I also added some visuals to my goals and some quotes that I live by. But the visuals are very, very important. So as you’re reviewing your goals, maybe take a time to put yourself in that state of mind on where you’re at once you’ve achieved them, and how you feel and where you’ll be, and what problems it will solve, and what achievements and accomplishments and motivation and success you will feel, and not success in terms of, like, material objectives, you know, like, a new car, new house, all that stuff, Like, like, really, like, how do you actually feel
after falling more in love with your spouse, what does that do for you? Put yourself in that state of mind.
How would it feel if your goal was to do a million dollars in sales this year and you did it, what will that do for you and your family?
Okay, so as you compound the visions
of putting your body and soul into the achievement that you, in fact, have accomplished that goal,
you will then put yourself in a spot to really hone in on the discipline and conduct the daily activities that you will do to achieve those goals. And if your goals are out there, if they’re hard to complete, if they’re hard to achieve, and they do freak you out. And I really hope that you guys take the time to put down some goals that are scary. You’re
going to look at them every day, and it’s going to make you want to work harder. It’s going to make you want to really use every single hour that you have within the day for an impact. So if you’re finding yourself like scrolling on social media and wasting an hour here and there, you know just like not really taking accountability for every single hour that you have to make an impact to achieve what you’re trying to achieve. And I know you all want to achieve, or else you wouldn’t be listening to this, right? I know we all want to find the next best version of ourself, or we wouldn’t be listening to this, and I wouldn’t be creating stuff like this, right? The reason that I want to create stuff like this is because I want to see this world and everybody find the next best version of themself, because I know that everybody has the ability to achieve and they want it
