Have you ever met somebody who has never hoped to achieve financial freedom in their life? Indeed, not everybody wants to get rich for many reasons, yet being able to live comfortably and with enough means isn’t so bad at all! Financial freedom generally means having enough funds to afford a suitable lifestyle while still having savings and investments to keep the ball rolling.
Yet, there is a catch: working towards financial freedom takes years of stacked-up wise decisions. Unfortunately, not everybody is successful in achieving it. Being bombarded with increasing debt, daily/monthly expenses, financial emergencies, and other issues that impede any possibility of financial freedom might make some people feel hopeless and weigh them down. Not every successful person is born with a silver spoon in their mouth, and everybody, especially you, can achieve financial freedom, too. Start with these healthy daily habits that can make a massive impact on your prosperity:
The early riser
Waking up at an early hour is essential for optimal health. Research shows that nearly 50% of self-made millionaires get up at least three hours before a workday. Many of them take advantage of this free time to exercise, meditate, plan their day, work on personal projects, or simply get their minds straight and ready for a whole day of work.
Drink water first
Staying hydrated might be an obvious thing to do, yet many people miss it. The human body is composed of 60% water, and not drinking enough water can cause dehydration and several health issues. Studies show that low levels of dehydration connect with headaches, fatigue, and increased cravings. So, before you fix yourself your morning brew, drink a glass of water first. Yes, it is refreshing while also aiding digestion and metabolism.
As sedentary lifestyles become more widespread, unfortunately, more and more people are getting used to an inactive lifestyle. This is not a good pattern as humans are designed to move and keep the body muscles in motion. Gone were the days when our daily lives included more body movement and manual labor, as many of us sit at our desks while working and have our groceries and take-out meals delivered to our doorstep.
When your job implies more sitting down than standing up and moving around, you need to carve out a specific time every day for exercise or outdoor activities. Make it your personal choice and go for something you enjoy, such as biking, hitting the gym, dancing, playing sports, and the list goes on!
The danger of using gadgets nonstop
Our phones or any of our gadgets are like our daily best friends. However, being connected to them 24/7 can cause various adverse side effects to our health. The constant digital connection can increase stress, and continuous exposure to blue light can suppress melatonin production, which is crucial for our body’s natural circadian rhythm and sleep patterns. So, instead of surfing the internet at the break of dawn or before you go to bed, put your phone away or turn off your computer. Allow your mind to relax, unwind, and be free from digital stress.
Big things begin in small.
It is entirely natural and not ambitious for us to desire prosperity while aiming to live rather than merely survive. As discussed in this monthly newsletter, our healthy daily habits can be the steering wheel and significantly impact our success. Let’s choose only the best habits to maintain every day and shake off the harmful ones. Prosperity doesn’t occur overnight; believe it or not, it starts with the small things you do.
