The Ultimate Bangalore Meetup Experience: Reliving the Magic
The Bangalore Meetup that took place on September 18–19 was just amazing! Colleagues from all across the nation attended this event, which took place at the magnificent Radisson Blu Atria banquet hall. It was a day full of learning, teamwork, acknowledgment, and lifelong memories. This event perfectly encapsulated the basic values of Growth99: innovation, collaboration, and a shared vision for the future, led by Poonam Mali, Head of India Operations. It was more than just a normal business meeting; it was an amazing event that inspired us and made us feel incredibly connected to one other.
Day 1: September 18th – Evening Meetup, Presentations, and Reward Ceremony
The event unfolded on the evening of September 18th at 6 PM, with an extraordinary welcome that set the perfect tone for the gathering at the luxurious Radisson Blu Atria banquet hall. The atmosphere was lively as everyone gathered, excited to meet face-to-face after months of virtual collaboration.
The evening unfolded with a heartfelt introduction from Saumya, setting the stage for a night brimming with profound insights and exhilarating celebrations. Poonam had the distinct honor of recognizing our visionary CEO, Rob, who then took the spotlight with a keynote that captivated and inspired. His address went beyond entrepreneurship, delving into the cultivation of an entrepreneurial mindset across the company. Rob spoke passionately about not just accelerating business growth, but also empowering personal transformation, leadership excellence, and the critical impact each individual has in shaping Growth99’s remarkable journey forward.
Following Rob’s impactful speech Poonam, our dynamic Head of India Operations, took the stage with an empowering speech. She began by taking us on a nostalgic journey, recounting the inspiring story of Growth99’s inception. Honoring the visionary leadership of Santosh and Camron, Poonam acknowledged the pivotal role they played in shaping the company. She also highlighted the remarkable milestones and achievements of the India team, celebrating their unwavering dedication and immense contributions to Growth99’s success. Her heartfelt appreciation for every individual involved in the company’s growth reinforced a sense of unity and pride, leaving everyone inspired and motivated for the future.
We then transitioned to the Reward Ceremony to honor and celebrate individual accomplishments. It highlights the importance of honoring individuals or teams who have shown excellence in their efforts, promoting a culture of appreciation and inspiration.

We also had a special appreciation award given to Lalit Suryan (Cyber Security Expert-Head), recognizing his excellence and long-standing contributions since the beginning of Growth99. The ceremony added a joyful and proud moment for everyone in the room.
The team leads also took center stage, showcasing their expertise and achievements. Chanakya Reddy, who heads the Infrastructure and Security team, shared exciting updates on the latest security enhancements, shedding light on the proactive measures being implemented to safeguard our systems. Ankit Sahu, along with Ranjana and Umair from the Paid Media and SEO teams, delivered insightful presentations that highlighted their significant contributions to the overall digital strategy. Their insights provided valuable perspectives on how their efforts are shaping our online presence and driving growth.
As the evening drew to a close, it culminated in a sumptuous dinner that provided a delightful backdrop for relaxation and camaraderie. Colleagues enjoyed a lavish spread of delicious food, sharing laughter and stories, all while basking in the warm company of one another. It was a perfect way to conclude a memorable evening filled with inspiration and connection.
Day 2: September 19th – Team Building and Adventure at Area83
The next day began early, with a 7 AM pickup from MG Road, near prominent landmarks like the JW Marriott. We embarked on our journey to Area83, an adventure and team-building venue, with anticipation buzzing in the air.
After arriving at Area83 around 9 AM, we started with a hearty breakfast. This was followed by a series of engaging team-building activities that allowed us to connect beyond work. One of the highlights was the Pyramid Builder activity, where Rob (our CEO) and Sarah led their team to victory, displaying not just leadership but a fun, competitive spirit.
As the day progressed, we indulged in exhilarating adventure activities that challenged our limits and strengthened our team bond. The adrenaline-fueled experiences, filled with laughter and camaraderie, created unforgettable memories. We concluded the afternoon with a delightful buffet lunch and High Tea, relishing the tranquil atmosphere of Area83.
By 6 PM, it was time to head back, but the excitement wasn’t over yet. On our way back to Bangalore, we made a stop for a delightful dinner at Buff Buffet Buff Restaurant, where we reflected on the day’s adventures and shared even more stories and laughs.
We returned to MG Road around 10:30 PM, where we said our goodbyes with full hearts and a wealth of memories. The meetup was a perfect blend of professional growth, team bonding, and sheer enjoyment. Everyone left with unforgettable moments, and a renewed sense of camaraderie, looking forward to the next big event.
