Our goal is to really give you insight value to the medical spa space, the medical spa market.
My team and I have consulted some of the top medical spas, injectors, plastic surgeons across the country for years, and we see businesses that are absolutely thriving, and we see businesses that are that are struggling and trying to figure it out, right? And so ones that need serious help, this is definitely going to be a great podcast for you. Ones that are doing great this is also going to be a great podcast for you as well.
So let’s begin this journey together and really focus on what makes a strong foundation, how we can improve that foundation, how we can get in the right mindset, how we can overcome all the struggles that are out there, all the things that we need to put in order to have success and reach prosperity and ultimately reach our goals and dreams.
So in this episode, I want to dive into your why, and it can sound a little cheesy, right? But it’s important, and the reason why it’s important is because it really helps you understand your true foundation. It helps you self navigate during challenging times, like when you don’t know where to pivot and change direction.
This is going to keep a strong foundation on where you came from, who you are, what your values are, and how to overcome and achieve anything that you want to have. So I have a little quote that I want to share for you guys here, and it’s if you know your why nobody can stop your dreams from reality. And I have been studying, you know, business success marketers, studying the wealth, studying very successful business owners in this space and other industries as well. And they talk about your why a lot.
They talk about goal setting a lot. And, you know, first glance, you’re like, oh my gosh, I’ve heard this before. Or what is he talking about? Or, hey, maybe it sounded a little bit, you know, cheesy, but the more that I study and learn about the ultra success, they all have very similar principles when it comes to having a strong foundation around your why and and knowing where you came from and not losing sight of where you’re going and how to reach your dreams of becoming a reality.
So again, if you know your why, nobody can stop your dreams from reality. I just, I love that quote, and want to share it with you guys today. So let’s get into just really quickly, some of the problems that I see by really understanding your why and why you’re here. So first and foremost, like, why did you start the business that you’re in? Right? Why are you thinking about maybe, potentially, you’re looking to start a medical practice.
I can tell you firsthand that, look, every day is not going to be easy. You’re going to have situations with employees. You’re going to have situations with how do I hire employees? Like, how do I let employees go? You’re going to how do I turn a profit? How do I find the ability to spend money on marketing when I don’t have enough business coming in? Or, how do I know my true ROI when it comes to marketing spend? Or what tools do I need to use? How do I automate the process? Like, I could go on and on and on about the challenges that either you’re currently facing, are facing or looking to overcome, or just, you know, always on your mind. Like, maybe you have great tools, maybe have great people, maybe have great processes, maybe you have great products, and maybe some of those areas are not as great as the others.
So again, you’re always going to have challenges in really, in your business than any weird life, right? So if you don’t understand your why, eventually your business can suffer a. Um, and I would say that at a very high success failure rate, if you don’t understand your why, because being an entrepreneur, being a business owner is may sound fluffy. It may sound fun, and like, oh, they have like, nice things.
But in reality, it can actually be a lonely place, like I have been on a tremendous amount of travel, flights, hotels, dark rooms, random offices, random phone call situations. Have to leave the the hobbies that I enjoy to take a business call or a business meeting. So there’s, there’s a lot of actually loneliness and chance of depression, if, if you don’t understand your core why, and so, you know, and even further, your relationships can actually suffer as well. So not only from a business perspective, but from a personal perspective, and they could be impacted in a negative way.
So eventually you know enough bad days in a row can put you further away from your goals and your success. And I have seen very successful people climb the success ladder only to fall down because they lose sight and don’t have a strong foundation, right?
So is a good analogy for you. If you’re if you want to build a house, for example. And I use this analogy on some calls that I’m on, but if you, if you want to build a house like the first thing you have to do is have a solid foundation, and then you can go vertical, right with the framing. But ultimately, what you want is the the nice countertops, the fancy appliances and in the hardwoods and stuff like that, right? So, but you can’t get there until you have a strong foundation, or else everything’s going to collapse.
Yeah. So getting further in, into that, I’ve seen it time and time again, very successful people, great mindset and only to fall back down. So we want to help you make sure that that does not happen to you. I’ve seen smart people fail, driven people run out of steam. You know, once successful people on the road to ultimate financial freedom. I’ve even seen profitable businesses collapse in a short period of time after having, like, very successful years, I’ve seen partnerships dissolve that once we’re best friends, running very successful enterprises.
So this is going to kind of pivot into just a quick story that I want to share with you, and I’m not going to expose any any names or any individuals, but just firsthand. And in recent years, actually, I was working with a business that was thriving. We’re talking high seven figures, very profitable, running it, you know, over 25% net. And which is a which is a great business. And unfortunately, one of those business partners, lost their lost their way, lost their path. At one point, they had really great values, but they had ultimately started achieving some success.
And what happened was that success actually put them in a position that took them away from where their values actually were, and ultimately, it took them down a path where they started hanging out with individuals that didn’t associate with their values. They were participating in extracurricular activities that didn’t have on par with their values. And what ended up happening was that business is now another statistic.
You know, it went from seven figures in sales down to zero because of a partnership dispute. And it’s unfortunate, and I really, truly believe, in my heart of hearts, that if those partners could have got on the same page, and if those partners could have had the same values and the same mindset they did initially when they started that business, that business would be in the eight figures today.
Strongly believe that so if they knew their why and and had a meeting about their why, right, like got together and discussed it and had conversations about it, then I really feel that they would be on their roots to have a successful business and on the road to financial freedom. Unfortunately, that is not the case. So we don’t want that to happen to you guys. So we want to give some insight here.

We don’t want that to happen to you guys. So we want to give some insight here. So again, the reason why I wanted to start out this podcast, particularly with your why, is because, again, it starts with solid roots. So let’s get into a couple key data points that I want to share with you around why your why is important. If you take the time to brainstorm your why high level bullet points, you will seek to understand your passion, okay?
And if you can understand your passion, you’ll find the room that you once need to fill, and will fill with energy. Okay? So if you find your passion, every time you walk into a room, everybody’s going to feel your energy, and you’re going to be the best version of yourself, constantly seeking the next best version of yourself. Okay?
It’s going to bring out your creativity and help implement successful opportunities. It’s a reminder of where you came from and where you’re going. It’s the reason you literally are doing what you’re passionate about. It’s going to keep you motivated. It’s going to keep you cool and calm during difficult situations. It’s going to help you understand long term success and make decisions around long term success, instead of just having quick wins that are honestly going to pull you two steps back every time you want to come into a long term decision that’s going to impact the bottom line of a business or where you’re going to be personally or mentally, physically, spiritually, you have to think long term.
You can’t think, oh, quick win, because it’s ultimately just going to pull you back. Okay, so some of those are some of the key points that I want to share now. The other thing I want to get into today is how to get started, right? So, like, like, Okay, what’s, what’s all this? Why stuff all about, but how do you get started? And I’m happy to share this with you guys, because I want you to get value out of what I’m sharing here.
So really quickly, if you can, if you’re not a position, you’re driving in your car, or whatever it is, obviously don’t do this. But if you’re at your office listening to this, pull out a piece of paper, if you’re at the gym, maybe pull up your phone and take a break for a second, but, or, you know, make a note and come back to it later. But this is a really, really strong, very important workshop that I want you to go through.
Okay? And it’s only take about 30 to 45 minutes, maybe even faster than that, but it’s, it’s an exercise that’s going to keep your vision on par with your goals. Okay, so I want you to do this, write down all the things you are seeking in your life that make you happy, everything from a business standpoint, from a family standpoint, friend standpoint, hobby standpoint, maybe it’s a spiritual standpoint, exercise standpoint, health, Wellness.
Write those things down.
Okay, now the ideas that make you happy, that truly make you happy, trust me, I’ve seen very successful business owners depressed. I’ve seen them live in fear. I’ve seen them live in states of anxiety. I’ve seen them have very, very high incomes, only living month to month, because they play horrible defense, right? So they they could be like freedom is something that comes to my mind, ultimate freedom, being able to hang out my my family and my beautiful two daughters, my beautiful wife all the time, right?
So, So freedom is something that, that I could see being very important security. You know, having the like security is, is extremely important when it may be financial security, you know, maybe it security in your marriage, right? Maybe it’s security in your family. Maybe you, you simply, like, you know, you want more time with your family, right? So, like, travel kind of comes up, you know, maybe you want to go see the world. Maybe you want to go see the world with your family, maybe by yourself, your friends, you know, whoever it is, but
that kind of comes, comes to my mind.
Maybe you want to give back to your community, you know, maybe that’s, that’s something that. You want to eventually do, giving back is important, right? It really like there’s a lot of books out there that show that giving back can actually make you feel better about yourself than earned income by giving back and actually sharing with your community to uplift the current state of environment that we live in, especially in these times, right?
So also, you know, remember, in this space that we are in, you’re in the business of helping people, right? So you’re in the business of, like, making sure these individuals have self confidence. It’s got to be a fulfilling job to have somebody come into your practice and leave a smile on their face, like they came in because they felt, maybe a little, you know, conscious about who they are, how they feel, how they look, you know.
And your job is, is being, you know, in the medical spa space, is making them have more confidence, making them feel beautiful, you know. And so I think that that’s actually a really, really cool thing. Like one of the things that makes me happy and gives me, me joy is, is really hearing our clients be successful like that is so much more powerful to me than you know, seeing like income coming from the account, if you will, right like when we we get very involved with our clients and almost become like family and friends, if you will.
We text a lot of our clients and just really stay in touch. But when I hear that they’re having success because of the efforts we’re doing, that just is music to my ears. So when your clients give you reviews on Google, for example, or when your clients, like, tell their friends and family where they went to make, you know, to look beautiful, like this is, this is very powerful. It’s, it’s more than just like I got my lips done.
They’re happy, and they’re actually sharing this on social media, and they’re sharing it with their friends and family. So anyway, let’s, let’s move on, because I want to get to the next topic, and that’s how to implement your why. Okay, so now we’ve kind of touched base on why. Your why is important.
How to start finding out what your why is. And now let’s get into how to implement your why. Like, because that’s one thing, just to jot it down. It’s one thing to have a note about it. But again, like, let’s, let’s talk about how to actually have implementation around your why. And so one of the things that I would do, I would recommend you review your why every morning, review your goal setting every morning, right?
And that’s going to kind of correlate with your why and your goals for long term success. And so I would literally review it every single day. I’d carry it around in your pocket. I carry mine around in my pocket.
I pull out my wallet. I go buy something, use my credit card. I’m like, forced to see it, so I’m like, Oh yeah, my why. Okay, cool, yeah, is this, does this decision I’m about to make right now correlate with my whys, okay, cool. And I’ve definitely seen myself, like, change my path of the decision I’m about to make based off of just that, that quick little reminder, which, which I think is great. So, so find out your why I put in your pocket. Love that.
Keep it in your office, right?
Maybe by your computer. Maybe it’s you get fancy and you put it on a canvas or something like that. Make it all, you know, cute and fun. Read it daily.
So if you have a morning ritual, morning routines, which I talk about on another podcast, which I highly recommend, but this is something that you should definitely implement, there’s going to be a day and time that you are absolutely going to need it. So have it on hand. Maybe put it on your mirror when you wake up, brush your teeth every morning.
