Hey, everyone. Cameron Hemphill, your host for Medical Millionaire.
Hey, first off, thanks so much for tuning in to our podcast. It means so much to us that you have taken the time out of your day to learn about how we have helped medical spa owners, injectors, esthetics, business owners and medical practice owners all over the country for years on how to grow their practice right, and how to Take their practice to a business and ultimately scale. And so here at growth 99 we help with everything, digital marketing, consulting, technology, and ultimately helping you get your practice to the next level.
So we see business owners and practice owners that are crushing it, ones that are thriving. They have huge staff, multiple locations, great profit margins, great services, and they figured it out. And then they we see other ones that are coming onto the map. They’re having, like, huge growth. How do they handle it all? How do they maximize returns?
How do they maximize profits? How do they maximize scalability? And we see other ones that are still trying to figure it out, and are wondering, How is everybody else doing it, and why are we not there? So throughout this journey together, our goal is to help you take your practice to the next level, right? And so in this podcast today, what I want to talk about is content creation and becoming the statement of authority. And if you’ve heard some of our previous episodes, you’ve you’ve heard me talk about being the statement of authority. And hopefully by now, if you have listen, you you understand what that means.
But ultimately, what content creation is is creating a level of authority or content through vocabulary, whether that’s blog creation, whether that’s video creation, whether that’s social media creation, so anything that actually puts you on the map when it comes to Creating content that’s pushed out to your audience or your avatar to grow a specific following and and become the educator of choice when somebody is seeking services to enhance their lifestyle, right? So, so when I look like from a bird’s eye view, outsider’s perspective, looking in. I’m saying, Okay, how can you create our, our audience? You the medical spa owner, the injector, the esthetician, right? The plastic surgeon. How can you create content and become the statement of authority, right? And so you have to, you have to take yourself out of the practice for a second and say, like, Why did I get here? How did I get here?
And I’m doing these treatments and services all day, but what was my life journey, and why am I looked at as the professional that’s literally enhancing this person’s physical appearance? Like, why did they select me? And there’s a reason for that. So you almost have to, like, go back to your roots, right? And understand that there’s a reason why that patient is in your chair today, and why they’ve selected you okay. And it could have been from a referral, it could have been from a Google search, it could have been from a social media, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, whatever the case is, but there’s a reason that they’re in your chair right now, okay?
And it’s because they believe in you, and it’s probably because you’ve put some really good content out there, whether it’s an email, a text message, a phone call that you had with them, like that, that’s content that’s like conveyed content through statement of authority, a video, a blog post, your website, right? Your Podcast, like, whatever you’re doing, you’re creating content that’s putting you in a position of being the statement of authority. Okay? So that’s what it is. And I think it’s important if you just kind of look back and say, Okay, where did I start? What was my journey, and where am I at now? And oh my gosh, like, this is what’s happening. Okay? So I would strongly encourage you to continue creating content and continue to learn new techniques and new strategies, and then create. Valuable content around those and when you get into content creation, I mean, you can talk about Botox for hours.
You could talk about injectables for hours, fillers for hours, where to inject botox, right and how many units to inject, and why and where, like, you could write content or create videos around so many different angles and verticals of just that one specific service treatment. So when you’re sitting down thinking about content, well, how can I create content? Or what should I post today? Or what could I create, you could just literally put a piece of paper and write down Botox and then figure out exactly how much different layers of content you can come up with that and then project that to your audience through all your social channels and become a statement of authority. Okay, so never limit yourself in the mindset of thinking that you don’t know what you’re doing, and the practice down the road or across town or in a different state knows what they’re doing better than you.
Okay, you’re all in the same journey together, and it’s super important that you just not rush the content creation, but brainstorm for a little bit and come up with some sort of road map or specific process that’s going to put you in that specific position to convey that to your audience. Okay, so you’ll start to get into the groove as you start doing this, and once you start creating the content, your confidence will come out, your power of authority will come out.
And everybody that’s listening to you, seeing you, watching you, going to your website, calling the physical location, and somebody answers the phone, you’re going to put yourself in the spot to convert more high qualified clients, and those high qualified clients look at you as the educator, as the person that knows what they’re doing.
They feel a level of Wow. I’m so thankful I contacted you, because you know what you’re doing. You make me feel welcome, and you make me feel that I made the right choice. Okay, so here’s what happens once you do that, they have friends, colleagues, family, they have social media. They have followers on their social media. Okay? They they go do things in their community, maybe they go to church, maybe they belong in a country club. They talk, okay, they talk, and when they talk, and they’re so thankful that they met you now they want to talk about you because you’re the one that made them empowered.
And what do people do when people feel that way and they want to express that? What that’s going to do is they’re going to say, you got to go see my injector. You got to go to this XYZ medical spa. You got to go see my plastic surgeon. And here’s why. Oh my gosh, when I got there, their place was beautiful. They’re so nice and kind, but more importantly, I feel like they know what they’re doing. And I feel like they’re not here just to make a buck, like they’re here to make me feel beautiful. And at the same time, of course, like money will come if you show what you love, what you’re doing, through the power of authority, like it just flows together in connectivity with the universe, right?
So I’m a huge believer in that. And so you know again, how you do this? Like go through all your service treatments, go through your journey, go through your past. Go through where you are presently, where you want to go in the future. Start just collaborating with your team, yourself, your spouse, your partner, whoever it is, on creating this content. Okay, now what do you do once you have the content created, push it out there. Push it out there, through every single voice channel, social media channel. Hit it on Instagram, hit it on Facebook, hit it on YouTube, hit it on Tiktok.
Go create a clubhouse group. Go through it on your website, go post it on your blog, go create a YouTube page like go throw all this content out there, and you’re gonna start being found. People live on the internet. They live on social media. Whether we live in this digital world that some could argue is unfortunate because we’re not having this, you know, one one to one interaction. Or whether it’s this new world that we live in that’s becoming digital, it’s here, and you have to embrace the tools that we have today, right?
I still hear so much like, oh, most of my business is word of mouth. I love that. Like, I don’t think word of mouth is ever, ever going away, but word of mouth is when you conducted the service, and then they go tell their friends and colleagues, and their friends and colleagues, tell their friends and colleagues, and it’s down the assembly line, which is, like, amazing. But when you want to get new, fresh eyeballs, create all that content and project it out there, right? And feel empowered because you have something to share, right? You’ve done the education, you have the experience, right? You’ve put in the work. Go tell everybody about it. Have fun with it.
They want to hear your story, and they want to choose you as the individual that empowers them. Okay, I see a lot of successful practices doing this, and the ones that are doing it are growing. The ones that are doing it are scaling. They’re opening up multiple offices. They’re hiring other injectors. They’re going from being a single injector to hiring other injectors to building out a brand. They’re going from different state ownership, they’re growing their business in a way that is putting them in a position to become financially free. And I think you know that that’s that’s an important part, is this, this journey, so, if not implemented, you will fall behind. Unfortunately, that’s that’s just the way things are going.
Okay. So I would strongly encourage you to come up with a road map and start implementing this right away. Okay, and I have worked with injectors like growth 99 has worked with some of the top injectors in the country. Okay? And I don’t name drop on our podcasts. I don’t really like to get into that. You can obviously go to our website, check out our case studies, check out our reviews, check out who we work with, even join some of our historical podcasts with, with the guests that we’ve had on, but I’ve seen there’s, there’s one that always sticks out in my mind, single injector, who worked, who worked at a med spa, open up her own location, is a, is a single injector, then open up her own brand, and now moving to even a bigger location, and it’s gonna, it’s gonna go to multiple locations, and it’s because they believe in the process.
They believe in themselves, they have confidence, and they’re not afraid to share it, and people like to see that, okay? And that’s not the only reason. That’s just like the topic that we’re on today, right? It’s, it’s a it’s a lot of other things that we talk in our previous episodes and in the future episodes that we’ll come out with, but, but this is a this is a big one for me, like becoming the statement of authority, and people like to tune in on that, and they like to listen, and it’s going to help with your overall conversion rates.
Okay, I have a really good friend outside of this industry. It’s still the health and wellness space, but he’s a good friend of mine, and I’ve watched him go from I think he was doing 20,000 a month in revenue to now doing about 300,000 a month in revenues. And what he has done is he’s basically taken his journey, and he’s taken his statement of authority, of his experience. Of his past, and he’s pushed that out there to the internet to see, and it’s been really cool to watch his business grow because of this, this specific way of projecting content in a way to where you’re the expert. Okay, that’s what I wanted to talk about today.
