Hey everybody.
Good morning. Cameron Hemphill, here your host for Medical Millionaire. Hey, first off, thanks so much for taking the time to tune in. Our goal is to give incredible value and insight into the medical spa market. So if you’re an injector, you own an esthetics business, you’re in the cosmetic space this podcast, it’s all about you, and we want to give you as much value as we can to help you take your practice to the next level, right? So my team and I, we consult some of the top injectors across the United States.
We actually power over 600 med spas currently. And we want to make everybody get value out of this podcast to help move the needle and help you become successful. So if there’s any little golden nugget that you get out of any of these episodes, just know that that’s that’s us trying to assist you, right? And so as our team is on the phone with individuals that are trying to get into this space, individuals that are trying to take their medical practice to the next level, individuals that have multiple locations and they want to go very big. Individuals that are doing six figures and want to go to seven or seven and got want to go to multiple seven. There’s something in these episodes that you can learn from because we see every single angle of where people are at within their career.
Okay? And what I want to get into on this particular episode is healthy habits, and why healthy habits make successful entrepreneurs. You have to keep your mind sharp. You have to have cutting edge ambition and great health in order to beat the hurdle. If you find yourself as a entrepreneur, as a business owner, running a practice and you are getting pulled in other directions, maybe you’re hanging out with the wrong group of people, maybe you’re hanging out with the wrong surroundings. Maybe you’re being fed wrong information, maybe you’re being absorbed by social media, absorbed by political bullshit, or you’re constantly just ingrained in something that is pulling you away from your ambition and your goals.
It’s time to take a reality check and really think about your environment and put yourself in a position to have a healthy lifestyle and embrace healthy habits, because this is so important when you’re talking about I want to be successful. I want to achieve my dreams. I want to accomplish my goals. I want to be a better person. I want to grow. I want my family to be in a better position to where they are now, there is a ton of competition. There is a ton of people that may want to even more than you do, and you have to realize that you have to be an athlete. Entrepreneurs and business owners, they have to be athletic. And they have to be athletic with their mind, with their body, their spirit, their soul and their ambition.
And it’s extremely important that you, you you take away this and every single thing that you go through throughout your day, make sure it’s embracing something of health and positivity that’s going to create that energy and keep you focused on what’s most important. Okay, and a lot of times this can actually boil all the way back down to your why Okay, from the things that we put in our body.
What are you eating? What time are you waking up? What are you reading? Who are you following on social media? Who are you surrounding yourself with the with, with, from a friend perspective, family perspective, right? Are you following other entrepreneurs and other successful individuals that help you want to get to the next level, or are you following individuals that suck you back and are not helping you move the needle? Unfollow those people, follow the people that. You want to become, and eventually you will become them. Okay. And don’t judge people if they have a five year or a 10 year advantage rate over you, they are where you are now. Okay. Where you are now is where they were years ago, and it takes time they got up every single day, they’ve read the books, they’ve taken, the courses, they’ve accomplished goals, right?
And so I think, like social media does a really bad job of that is you can pull up your Instagram and you can say, oh my gosh, like he or she is here, and it almost like crumbles your ambition, because you want to be there so bad, but you know it’s so far away, that’s okay. Enjoy the journey, enjoy the process, and have respect for where they’re at, because they were where you were, where you are now, and the only way that they got to where they are is because they went through those challenges, and they understand what those challenges are, and they face them, and they’ve overcome those fears and those objectives, and I can promise you now, no matter where anybody is in their career, they still have fear. They still have doubt.
They still have confidence issues, because they are trying to become the next best version of where they are. It’s this entire vision and path and dream and journey and have fun along the way and embrace where you are, because if you keep following healthy habits and have a really good healthy routine, you will be where you want to be. It takes consistency. It takes discipline. And a lot of times it takes removing people from your life, removing certain activities from your life, and removing the ability to say yes, and that’s a hard one, and that’s been a hard one for me.
I have gotten really good these days of saying no, right? A lot of times it feels good to be a yes man or a yes woman, feels good to say no, because if you are focused on what your objective is, nothing should be able to get in your way. And it takes that amount of energy and that amount of focus to know exactly where you’re at and where you want to go, okay, so, some healthy habits that I really like to see people embrace, and some of the very successful entrepreneurs that I follow and that I want to be like, they are all focusing on, on health, right? Because, because what great is wealth. If you don’t have good health, you can have all the money in the world if and then, if you’re not healthy, you can’t do anything right. I
read a quote one day, and it inspired me, and said, you know, a sick person only wants to become healthy. A healthy person only wants more. So think about that for a second. A sick person only wants to become healthy. That’s it. They want to become healthy. A healthy person, they always want more, right?
So health and embracing and pushing that into your business concept, into your life, into your family, into your friends, into your colleagues, into your staff, into your clients. That’s something that should be embraced. Okay? Nutrition, extremely important, organic foods, vitamins, keeping your body healthy, saying no to that snack. Trust me, I love snacks. I mean, I have two daughters and a wife, and we love snacks. But a lot of times it feels good to say no, because you know where you want to get your body to Okay. Maybe say no, going out on Friday nights.
Say No, going out on Saturday nights, right? The last thing you want to do is feel like shit when you wake up Saturday morning, because you maybe you had one too many on Friday nights. The people that wake up early Saturday morning and are cranking on their business like on business plan, business structure, automation, tool sets, mindset, stuff like that. They’re the ones that are going to get ahead. They’re embracing those other few hours. So the ones that are going to get ahead. And if you wake up on Saturday film crappy, hungover or whatever, right? Whatever the case is, out too late, it’s pulling you back, right? So be. Very cautious of what you put in your body and where you spend your time, if this is what you want, and I know that the audience that I’m talking to, this is what they want, this is what’s important to them, or else you wouldn’t take the time to invest in learning to take yourself to the next level.
Your injectors, your business owners, you run practices, your a lot of you are moms. You know, wives. You know you’re you have partners, married, not married, divorced, whatever, like, there is crazy amounts of chaos outside of just running a business, right? But if you’re taking the time to tune into stuff like this, you have passion, and you want to move the needle, right? So take everything that you learn outside of even this podcast, right?
You guys are constantly learning and constantly going to networking events and and take a lot of what you learn and and implement it, take action. Okay, I get so pissed when I talk to these entrepreneurs and a lot of lot of people that have asked me questions, what book should I read? And I asked him, Well, have you read this, this, this and this book and this book and this book and this book. Well, no, I’ve had that book forever, but I’ve never actually read it. Like, why? Why haven’t you? You have the book, you actually took the time to buy the book and then you never actually read it, huh?
Okay, why are you even asking me the question? You should be asking your question, why you even bought the book if you weren’t planning on reading it, you can’t just, like have this thought and then not take action on it, okay? And then it goes to the next level. Once you read the book, take action from what the book tells you to do, if it’s obviously from a credible source, and it’s going to get you to achieve the elite status that you’re ultimately seeking, right? So some of the things that that have really helped me over the years, of maintaining healthy habits, is being obsessed with with fitness.
I do a lot of running and outside activity, as you can tell. I mean, we’re in front of our computers all day long, right? Growth, 99 does digital marketing, and it requires a tremendous amount of computer work, phone calls, text messages, emails, tremendous amount of service, tremendous amount of internal communication, external communication. I always take the time in the afternoons to go outside and run and run a few miles, and it really helps clear, clear my thoughts, and helps me actually position myself for the second half of the day, and then running into the family evening as well.
So that’s something that’s worked really well for me. The other, the other thing that’s worked really well for me is following a nutrition plan that’s been a very successful thing that I’ve implemented, and kind of helped me stay focused, right? So, so that’s been something that’s helped me a tremendous amount. And then in terms of, like, your your goals, you can break them down based upon, you know, health and wealth and how are they in sync?
Synchronization, right? Tracking food extremely important so you can get, like, macro tracking stuff like that is extremely helpful for you. Weekly yoga, meditation, breathing techniques, I do a lot of that stuff, really, if you get and I could actually have a like, an episode on each one of these, but breathing techniques, I’ve really learned a lot about that lately, and what it does for your mind and your spirit, your body and soul and and also the health benefits of actually getting a tremendous amount of oxygen into your body, that’s been super important.
Beating the sun up. I. Talk about this quite a bit, but beating the actual sun up. Anybody know time the stock market opens? Stock Market opens at 9:30am Eastern, standard time they are making decisions. I would strongly suggest waking up before they start making decisions without you. So if you’re on Pacific time. You got to be up before 6:30am and that should be a piece of cake for you, because you’re listening to this podcast, and you’re a business owner and you want to achieve the next status, also embracing some of your hobbies. Live, you know, laugh. Have gratitude. Be thankful. Right surrounding yourself, there’s a there’s a quote that I have in my office that I read every day, and I’ll read it to you right now.
Live the life you’ve always dreamed of. Be fearless in the face of adversity. Never stop learning. Use your imagination whenever possible, recognize the beauty that surrounds you. Remember where you came from, but never lose sight of where you are going. And there is so much within that quote that has helped me get to where I am and I’m nowhere near where I want to go, but trying and having the discipline and putting yourself into the position to obtain the next best version of yourself is something that’s extremely important, especially if you want to be successful, the individuals and business owners, and I would call them elite injectors, if you will, right some of the top business owners and practice owners that I work with and we have worked with, And I can see, like, night and day, like the the practice owners that have achieved high status, and they’re seeking the next level of themselves, by the way, like it’s never over, right?
They embrace a tremendous amount of healthy habits. In fact, when I was I was just down in Dallas, Texas at the esthetic next conference that esthetic record puts on, and it’s at the Omni Hotel downtown Dallas, and there’s a gym there, right and and I get into the gym Early in the morning when I was there and, like, 5:30am something like that Central Time. And, shoot, there was people in there that that beat me in there. I was definitely not the first one in there. And I can tell that they are in the the Med Spa space. I can tell that they’re in the esthetic space, right.
I mean, the whole conference was, was basically that that hotel was filled with people that are in the esthetics arena, and they’re in there just they have their ear pods in and they’re sucking in information, and they’re running on the treadmill, they’re running on the bike, or they’re, they’re they’re lifting weights, or they’re doing some sort of physical activity, and then they’re gearing up to go learn more education in the afternoon. And part of that conference, by the way, was over the weekend, so it was really cool to see people get up early Saturday, crushing it, getting geared up and prepared to learn more on Saturday, sacrifice was one word I can think of when I walked into that gym on Saturday morning, and it was sacrifice.
