Our goal is to give incredible value and insight into the medical esthetics market. So if you’re an injector, you’re in the medical esthetic space, cosmetic space, DERM space, this podcast, it’s designed for you. We want to help you take your practice to the next level. And my team and I, we’ve consulted with some of the top injectors across the country for years, we see practices that are absolutely thriving. We see ones that need serious help. So throughout this journey together, we want to help you take your practice to the next level. I want to get into something today that has absolutely changed my life, something that I’ve been doing for years, and I can talk about it now, because it’s something that I actively do and something that I did not do prior, and it’s about working out. And when to work out, it’s extremely important, if you’re looking to take your life to the next level, to work out in the morning. Working out in the morning changes everything, and here’s why, when you wake up in the morning, and if you’ve listened to some of my other previous episodes, you all know that I enjoy waking up early, and I love beating the sun up because you have that time of the day to actually accelerate what you were trying to get accomplished, to put yourself in a position to achieve so working out in the morning. Why is it beneficial for one it’s going to give you extreme energy, extreme clarity and extreme focus. And if you’re looking to achieve, if you’re looking to find the next best version of yourself, this is something that you absolutely have to implement. It’s not something that maybe you should implement. It’s critical. It’s a key component to success. It’s a key component to making sure that you have the appropriate amount of health and clarity and focus. There has been time and time again, when I am working out in the morning, I come up with the most strategic, fundamental ideas that absolutely changed my life for the better, and ones that I have rolled out and implemented time and time again, and I remind myself of when I came up with that idea, or when I implemented that process, or when that thought entered my mind, and what action I took. A lot of times I’m working out, I’ll literally have to stop myself, and I will have to send myself like an email note reminder or put it in my phone, whatever is. You know works for you. I always send myself email note reminders, and I will look at it and I will take action on that. Okay, there’s a great book out there called the wealthy gardener, and this gentleman talks about why he always makes critical decisions on a think walk. And I look at working out in the very much the same pattern, either a think walk or a think run. But if you are currently not working out in the morning, and you are rolling into your practice maybe a little after nine, when you’re supposed to be there at nine people see that your attitude is reflected and you’re not thinking clearly while you’re performing the task at hand. Remember, we want to be in a position to run our practice like a business, and so we have to be exceptional leaders and have an amazing amount of performance capabilities. So let’s also talk about the ability to prep your mind, the ability to live longer, creating a great attitude, and really getting down to the nuts and bolts of the thinking. So when you wake up in the morning, and I’m talking about beating the sun up, and you start body movement. And I’m not saying immediately, but I’m saying like, one of one of your regimens should be to get focus and get either into the gym, get outside, move your body, be active, okay? It starts to create inertia. It starts to create something that is going to really help your mind explore different avenues and paths on what you can do to implement strategies throughout your practice, throughout your life, throughout your health, throughout your spiritual your finances, anything that you’re looking. Can to achieve and take the next level to success. And so while you’re working out, a lot of people will listen to music, and I think listening to music is great because it can really put you in a state of mind that’s a happiness, and enjoy your workout and give you an incredible amount of extra energy, if you will. But it also puts you in a position to listen to a podcast, listen to a audio book, and that audio book or that podcast can be something on a topic that you haven’t learned before. Maybe you want to learn about finances, maybe you want to learn about marketing, maybe you want to learn about how to raise your kids better. Maybe you want to learn about how to have a better marriage. This is a fantastic time to not only put your body and mind into a physical better shape from a clarity perspective, and also give yourself better health, but also a great time to enhance your learning. And so it creates a compound effect in the term of in the sense of now that you are spending time improving the overall physical appearance of your body, you’re clear. You’re clarifying your cloudy potential brain. You can’t just wake up and drink coffee and think you’re ready to go. You have to gear up and be ready for the day, and you have to have that extra amount of energy. And it’s also going to let you educate yourself, and so you can knock out several different aspects of growth and growth pattern when you implement working out in the morning, and why it changes everything. There has been so many times where I’ve waken up and I’ve not felt good. I’ve woken up and maybe it just, it’s just not today. I’m not feeling great. I had a cup of coffee. I’m just not feeling it. I can tell you, every single time I have worked out, I feel better. I have a better attitude. I work better. I feel better about my physical appearance. And it’s the moment of when you have the ability to do something hard. First thing in the morning, working out is hard. Going on a walk, a long walk, can be hard. Running can be hard. Lifting weights can be hard. Doing a cardio class can be hard. Yoga can be hard. It’s all challenging. And if you can accomplish the most hardest, the hardest thing in the day, first, everything else becomes easier. If you go throughout a very challenging work day, how many times do you have to make decisions on demand that are critical because you’re extremely busy, if you are not sharp and do not have the clarity or the focus or the capacity, and you’re groggy and you’re tired, you could make decisions that are extremely critical, that could take your path down a different direction that just doesn’t make sense.

When I started working out in the morning, I worked out pretty religiously my whole life. You know, through, like, late junior high school, high school, college, definitely big into like the lifting weights phase and running, and then I always worked out after college. I always worked out after work, and it was great, at least I got my daily workout in, right? There was a good regimen there, but I’d go to work and then I would go to the gym, right? I had a gym buddy, and we’d work out. And I always found myself staying up until about 1112, maybe 1230 and how can I wake up if I’m going to bed at those hours? How can I wake up at 4am 5am it’s really not possible, because you have to. Have a great, you know, hours of sleep in order to also have a sharp mind, right? And so if you’re working out later in the evenings, or if you’re working out in the afternoons, it does wake you up, it does give you energy, but it can put you in a position to where you’re up maybe too late, you’re not getting up early. And so as you put yourself in a position to wake up early and get to the gym early or get outside and do some physical movement, you are energized for the entire day. And so once I changed this regimen, it’s been about 11 years now since I started working out in the morning, and if I look at my financial balance sheet, if you will, net worth, accomplishments, family, children, spiritual, mental, all that stuff, it really all started when I Really, when I started working out in the morning, everything else compounded off of that. You have to physically get yourself out of bed. It’s not easy to wake up early. You always want to hit the snooze button. Hit the snooze button. Maybe you’re just kind of moseying your way into the gym. You’re moseying your way outside or wherever you wherever you work out, once you start that physical movement, and you put those air pods or whatever you have in your ears, and you start infusing yourself with amazing content. And you do this for time after time after time again your life will change, guaranteed. Guaranteed it will change. Now you have to have discipline and you have to have accountability, because if you just do this for one day, one week, one month, nothing is going to change. You have to have consistency and make it part of your daily routine to really see the actual results. Okay, you can’t go to the gym one day and come back and look in the mirror. What happens? Nothing changes. Go to the gym. Day two, look in the mirror. Nothing changes. Go to the gym. Day three, look in the mirror, nothing changes. Go to the gym. Day seven, look in the mirror, nothing changes. That’s where most people give up. They’re like, You know what? I’ve been going to the gym for a week. It’s been great. It felt good. But, you know, I’m, I’m just, I’m done, like, I just really haven’t seen the results yet, that, you know? And that’s, that’s really the story of why most people fail is because they give up too early. They want instant gratification, and it’s a false belief that’s that’s been out there, that’s just, it’s just not true. So you have to have extreme discipline and accountability within yourself, and once you do it time and time and time again, over the course of a year, you will definitely see the results. You’ll see the results physically. You’ll you’ll know them mentally. At this point in time, you’ve probably learned 10 new skill sets. You’ve read several books within your your ears, right through audio listening. So you have now put yourself in a spot to to learn, while at the same time give yourself this amazing new look and feel of who you are. So if you’re currently not doing this, we’re coming down to the end of the year 2022 I strongly recommend rolling it out for 2023 if this is the only thing you do for 2023 and you know what? I’m just gonna go and wake up early and I’m going to work out in the mornings. That’s what I’m going to do. What will naturally happen is things will start to evolve. You will start to learn new things. You will start to feel better. You’ll start to run your practice more efficiently. You will be nicer to your children. You’ll be nicer to your spouse. You will feel good, you’ll probably want to pick up a new hobby. You will probably come back to your home office or whatever, because it’s early and you will have something that you want to implement. You’ll probably want to have a team meeting all of a sudden, right? Because you start thinking. You literally it. Your brain starts waking up, and you start thinking, and you’re not buried in emails, you’re not buried in your phone. You’re not buried in social media. This time is allocated for you, and it’s allocated for your physical body and your physical mental health to help you really just become more self aware of what you currently have and where you can take this and how far you can go.
So this is the only thing that you want to do for 2023
this would be my most important suggestion. I strongly encourage it, and it’s absolutely been the foundation on when my life changed.
And I mean that I’m dead serious about that.
There’s other topics and stuff, like of other things that I’ve obviously been very, very critical. But it will give you in a positive attitude, put yourself in a position to solve critical problems, come up with new ideas. You’ll live longer. You’ll have a very prepped mind, you’ll be sharp, you’ll have the clarity, you’ll have the focus, you’ll have the mental state and the energy to keep going. And there’s days out there that are hard, so if you’re physically not fit, mentally not capable or fit, it’s going to be challenging. There’s going to be days I just want to knock you down, so you have to be on your game.
So I’ll leave it at that. I
hope you all got a tremendous amount of value by me sharing this experience. I hope you implement it again. Guys. If you found this content valuable, please share it. Keep the conversation going. My name is Cameron Hemphill, until next time happy injecting you.
